Rangers:
The 10 episode titles were: (112) Chrysalis - (310) Severed Dreams - (207)
A Race Through Dark Places - (404) Falling toward Apotheosis - (508) Secrets
of the Soul - (206) A Spider in the Web - (512) Phoenix Rising - (315) Interludes
and Examinations - (419) Between the Darkness and the Light - (111) Survivors.
However, each column also contained an additional letter which
didn't fit into the grid. These letters spelled out the message: PRODUCTION
NUMBER SEASON NAME. One of the unique features of Babylon 5 was that each
season had a name as well as each episode. The grid contained two episodes
from each of the five seasons of B5. If you took the production number for
the episode and counted that many letters into the season title, the resulting
letters spelled TRILUMINAR. The puzzle stated that the item
may be incomplete, so the identity of the object ought to be fairly clear.
Owing to a mistake by the puzzle-setter, the letters actually spelled
TRIULMINAR but fortunately this didn't cause too many problems...
Starfleet Intelligence:
The main answers were: Jaunting - Northerner - Vila - Hoax - Navajo - Ernst
- Terminal - Hell - Xander - Divide - Martians - Earthman - Airstrip - Gag.
The highlighted message read: SOME ALIEN NAMES. The grid at the bottom contained
eight pairs of names, each of which was from a different race in Star Trek.
The initial letters of these alien races spelled out TOX UTHAT.
Tellarite: Gaavrin Terev
Orions: Thelev Marta
Xindi: Jannar Degra
Ulian: Tarmin Inad
Trill: Renhol Tigan
Hirogen: Turanj Idrin
Andorian: Tholos Shras

Stargate Command:
The main answers were: Carter – Jeep – Naquadah - Blockade - Jolinar
- Cheyenne - Ventricle - Trek - Atlantis - Skaara - Dial Home - Kawalsky.
The hidden message read: USE INITIALS. The grid at the bottom contained several
names, some first names and some surnames. Each of the titles could be paired
with one of the names in the grid, and the number indicated the length of
the “missing” part of the name (so Doctor Weir was Elizabeth,
but General Jack was O'Neil etc.) The initial letters of these “missing”
parts spelled out ZERO POINT MODULE.
Zelenka - Doctor Radek
Egeria - Tok'ra Queen
Rodney - Doctor McKay
O'Neill - General Jack
Pendergast - Commander Lionel
Oma - Ascended Desala
Imhotep - Goa'uld K'tano
Nicholas - Archaeologist Ballard
Tanner -Fake Psychiatrist Peter
Mal Doran -Smuggler Vala 3,4
Osiris - Goa'uld Sarah
Daniel - Doctor Jackson

Torchwood Institute:
Each line contains a single sentence summary of an episode from series one
of Torchwood: 1. Gwen encounters a hidden organisation etc. The puzzle was
structured so that each main character began one of the entries to make starting
it easier. Once completed, the highlighted boxes read: USE INDICATED LETTERS
FROM EPISODE TITLES. At the end of each line was a number; counting this number
of letters from the title of the episode described on each line spelled out
RISEN MITTEN.
04 gwen encounters a secret organisation (EVERYTHING CHANGES)
10 owen solves crime using alien gadget(GHOST MACHINE)
01 fairies at the bottom of your garden? (SMALL WORLDS)
07 suzie plots revenge from beyond grave (THEY KEEP KILLING SUZIE)
03 can gwen save our hit-and-run victim? (RANDOM SHOES)
08 ianto hides something in the basement (CYBERWOMAN)
11 tosh finds telepathy a mixed blessing (GREEKS BEARING GIFTS)
05 the cat-and-mouse game with cannibals (COUNTRYCIDE)

The first part of this puzzle involves identifying the show that is being clued, which was Blake's Seven (Redemption is primarily a B7 Con after all!) The preamble to the puzzle and the clue “it's as easy as pie” indicates that the indexed letters in this case come from the number Pi (3.1415 etc.) The message spelled out USE BOLD FROM CODED MESSAGE IN PR which indicated that the codeword was SMOKE AND MIRRORS.
The clued episodes were:
orbit
orac
warlord
duel
missiontodestiny
countdown
spacefall
killer
moloch
projectavalon
childrenofauron
pressurepoint
voicefromthepast
starone
theharvestofkairos

cygnusalpha
thekeeper
A blake - B avon - C vila - D jenna - E gan - F cally - G tarrant - H dayna - I soolin -J orac - K liberator - Lscorpio - M servalan - N travis
Each box contains the description of a well-know genre show. However, some of the information isn't true. By labelling each fact True or False a binary number can be generated.

Each row of the puzzle also contained an entry for one of the
four groups in the game. This gives an index number to use with the item that
each group had been assigned.
Babylon 5 : TRILUMINARY : 11 = Y
Stargate: ZERO POINT MODULE : 4 = O
Star Trek: TOX UTHAT: 7 = A
Torchwood: RISEN MITTEN : 6 = M
The players now had to realise that the only puzzle information they hadn't used up to this point was the solution to the sudoku. The main LEVIATHAN in the series Farscape was named MOYA and this was the code to defuse the bomb.
Each coded message refers to the Orange puzzle received by each
team. Simply substituting the codes for the letters from the original puzzle
spells out the message SPECTRUM ALERT: DO NOT DELIVER ITEM TO MYSTERONS.
Each message had every occurrence of two specific letters missing. This was
an additional clue to the bomb code.
The grid contained pictures of 25 fictional robots or computers. Each began with a different letter of the alphabet: (except for Y):
Robbie (Forbidden Planet) - Project 2051/Puppet Master (Ghost in the Shell) - K9 (Doctor Who) - Anne Droid (Doctor Who) - Vincent (The Black Hole) - Skutters (Red Dwarf) - Orac (Blake's 7) - No-No (Ulysses 31) - T800 (The Terminator) - XL (Buzz Lightyear of Star Command) - Buffyboy (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) - Holly (Red Dwarf) - Gort (The Day The Earth Stood Still) - Iron Man (The Iron Giant) - Metal Mickey - C3PO (Star Wars saga) - Johnny 5 (Short Circuit) - Lal (Star Trek: The Next Generation) - ED-209 (Robocop) - Dot Matrix (Spaceballs) - Questor (The Questor Tapes) - Zen (Blake's 7) - Ultron (Marvel comics) - Fender (Robots) - WOPR (Wargames)
The grid of letters can then be decoded to read:
RTRNAO
EIOTKN
QTMAET
UEANTA
EMGDOC
SFETCT
which, when read down the columns says: REQUEST ITEM FROM AGENT AND
TAKE TO CONTACT.
(note: the I of ITEM was inadvertently printed as an H, an error which has been fixed in the version posted here. Again, this didn't prevent the players from figuring out the final solution.)
